The Droideka, also known as the Destroyer Droid, was an advanced battle droid used by the Trade Federation and later the Confederacy of Independent Systems. Designed for maximum firepower and defense, it could roll swiftly into battle before deploying into its combat mode, activating powerful twin blaster cannons and an almost impenetrable deflector shield. Feared by clone troopers and Jedi alike, the Droideka was one of the most formidable droids of the Clone Wars.
