The Low Altitude Assault Transport/Infantry (LAAT/i), also known as the Republic Gunship, was a key vehicle used by the Grand Army of the Republic during the Clone Wars. Serving as both a gunship and troop transport, it played a crucial role in air-to-ground and air-to-air combat against the Confederacy of Independent Systems. Widely deployed in battles across the galaxy, the LAAT/i continued to see service during the Imperial Era, utilized by both the Galactic Empire and the Alliance to Restore the Republic.
