This Moc is the iconic Going Marry, the iconic ship from the One Piece anime. In this case, it’s probably one of the firsts designs of this iconic ship and I will dare to say that probably the first at minifigure scale (or at least the closest to that) and have the display stand/option. The stand can be removed and the ship display in both ways. It may lack a couple details like doors here and there or small windows, but since is based on an anime design and most of the scale is not quite proportionated/right, I managed to create a more accurated design but ommiting some stuff. It uses a quite range of complex techniques, really proud of that, and everything can be built and is all conected (not a single colision). Feel free to customize it with some strings, even paint the goat face and add some custom figures. But after all, it’s the ultimate decoration piece for all lego and one piece fans!
The Going Merry was the first ship of the Straw Hat Pirates. It is a caravel-class ship designed by Merry, financed and gifted by Kaya to the Straw Hats as a reward for saving her. Over time, the ship came to be loved by the crew as a home and a friend, so much so that it literally took on a life of its own and became as much a part of the crew as any of them. Unfortunately, the Going Merry received an enormous amount of damage during her “life as a band member”, losing several pieces of wood, being battered, burned in the Skypiea saga, and even having her main mast broken repeatedly. Eventually, the Going Merry could not continue any further and received a Viking funeral after the Enies Lobby arc.
